Study Individual Support with are-able Education and Training
Enrol in a fulfilling career in the disability support sector with the Certificate III in Individual Support. This course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with disabilities in various settings, including community, home, and residential care. You’ll gain valuable experience working under supervision as part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on empowering individuals to live their best lives.
What students will learn:
- Personalised Support: Deliver tailored care to individuals with disabilities, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
- Client-Centred Planning: Create and implement personalised support plans that promote well-being and independence.

Course Structure:
- Duration: 52 Weeks
- Industry Placement: 15 hours per week of practical experience in a disability support setting.
- Classroom Learning: 7 hours per week of face-to-face instruction.
- Self-Study: 7 hours per week to reinforce classroom and practical learning.
Qualification Overview:
The Certificate III in Individual Support focuses on the role of individuals providing support to people with disabilities in community, home, or residential care settings. Students will learn to follow personalised support plans, work under supervision, and deliver quality, person-centred care. The course emphasises understanding the diverse needs of individuals with disabilities, preparing students to effectively support them with compassion and professionalism.

Learn to support people with a disability by empowering them to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and well-being.
Students will learn how to
