Zack Jacobson’s journey with the School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) program through are-able has been nothing short of inspiring. Over the past six months, Zack has tackled significant challenges on his path to obtaining his learner’s permit, achieving in just seven weeks what had previously eluded him for an entire year.

With the unwavering support of his Employment Preparation Engagement Consultant, Tenesha Kelly, Zack’s determination truly shone through. Together, they worked through countless mock interviews and job applications, honing Zack’s skills and boosting his confidence. Despite facing multiple interview setbacks, Zack’s resilience paid off spectacularly when he landed a role as a Fresh Convenience Team Member at Woolworths.

“What I appreciate most about are-able is the support I’ve received throughout my journey of overcoming my barriers,” Zack shared.
