Dreams Come True: Anthony Inspiring Employment Journey with are-able Disability Employment Services Mildura

At are-able Disability Employment Services (DES), we believe in making dreams come true, just like we did for Anthony. Anthony, a 36-year-old man with a cognitive neurological impairment, overcame obstacles with the support of are-able and landed his dream job at Intersport, making his employment journey a story of inspiration and excitement.

Despite facing challenges with speech, writing, and manual tasks, Anthony’s determination to secure his dream job never wavered. He joined are-able in March 2022 with the help of his dedicated Employment Consultant, William, who recognised Anthony’s unique abilities and marketed them to Mark at Intersport. With regular check-ins and post-placement support from Will, Anthony secured a role as a retail assistant, a position he had always dreamt of.

Anthony’s exceptional customer service skills quickly earned him a promotion to a customer service role, where he continues to shine. As Anthony puts it, “Will from are-able made my dreams come true. I have been able to live my dreams in my dream job.”
