Ararat Local Reaches Goals After Completing Early Childhood Education and Care Diploma
The career of local Ararat woman, Emily, is taking off after completing her Early Childhood Education and Care Diploma with are-able Education and Training.
In 2018 Emily commenced study with are-able Works Training Ararat completing her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. Emily then went on to upskill, beginning her diploma in 2020. As a student Emily was highly motivated and was aspired to gain a room leader position, this lead her to after she completed her Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. “I was already working in the industry and had my early childhood education certificate, I wanted to gain a higher qualification,” Emily affirmed.
Juggling class, placement and study was a challenge Emily took on with confidence. “I didn’t find it difficult at all, when I began studying, I knew I wanted to power through and get it done so that was my motivation.”
When asked about her experience with are-able Education and Training, Emily expresses that she felt “extremely supported and my trainer (Leah) was always more than happy to assist me.”
Emily has now achieved her goal and is the room leader of the room she was working in at her service. Congratulations Emily!
